Getting started
What Hội Ngộ is and where invitations are made.
What kinds of event is Hội Ngộ for?
Workshops, class reunions, year-end parties, meetups and conferences. Each template has a default theme pack (Conference, Gala night, Year-end, Class reunion); you can switch the theme pack at any time in the editor.
Where are invitations made, and is a password needed?
You build the invitation in wishlyn studio (app.wishlyn.com/create). Sign in with a 6-digit code sent by email — no password needed.
Do guests need to install an app?
No. Guests open the link on their phone, reply and get their QR ticket right on the invitation. There is a button to add it to Google Calendar or download a calendar file (.ics).
Links, tickets and check-in
One link per guest, one ticket per person.
What does a guest's private link look like?
It looks like events.wishlyn.com/<event name>/<8-character code>, for example events.wishlyn.com/hop-lop-12a1/m7k2q9xa. A private link greets the guest by name and keeps their response. A shared link (no code) opens the same invitation with a general greeting.
What if a private link reaches the wrong person?
In wishlyn studio, tap “Regenerate link” for that guest. The old link stops opening at once and shows a “Link changed” page; the response the guest already sent is kept.
Does the ticket checker need the host's account?
No. The organiser sends a “Ticket checker” link; whoever gets it can only scan codes and see the guest list, not change the event.
Can tickets be scanned if the network is down at the door?
Yes. Scans are stored on the device and sync once there is a connection. If two devices scan the same ticket, the second one reports “Ticket already used”.
Responses
Three answers, editable until the deadline.
How do guests reply?
The guest picks Coming, Not sure or Can't make it, with the total number of people (themselves included) within the limit the organiser set. Messages can be up to 500 characters. Choosing “Not sure” issues no ticket; confirming “Coming” shows the QR ticket straight away.
Can a guest change their mind?
Yes, until the reply deadline: the guest opens their private link again and sends a new answer, which replaces the old one. After the deadline the invitation is still readable but shows “Responses closed”.
What if it is full?
The reply button becomes “Join the waiting list”. When someone cancels, the organiser gives the place to the next person waiting and the ticket appears on their link.
Ticket money, contributions and pricing
Wishlyn does not hold guests' money.
Where do the ticket money and contributions go?
Guests transfer by VietQR straight to the organiser's or treasurer's account. Wishlyn never holds the money and charges no ticket fee; the organiser confirms receipt in wishlyn studio.
How much does activating an invitation cost?
₫149,000 for your first invitation, ₫74,000 from the second in the same Wishlyn account. One payment per invitation, no subscription; the invitation stays open for 365 days after the event.
What happens after the 3-day trial?
After the 3-day trial the link is locked for the moment: guests cannot open it until you activate. The content is kept for 30 days.
Is there a refund if the event is cancelled?
A full refund within 7 days of Mở thiệp, as long as no guest has opened the invitation.
Privacy
A private invitation opens only for someone who has the link.
Could an internal event leak?
A private event opens only through each guest's own link and does not appear in search engines. The page title and the share image carry no guest names.
Where do I report an abusive invitation?
Tap “Report invitation” at the foot of the invitation, or write to wishlyn.com/ho-tro with the subject Report and the invitation link.
